Shopping delights
Didn't like shopping till I came to Hoi An. Shoes and bags and shirts and jackets and cushion covers and cooking classes and food and...,,,
Photos coming soon.
Blogs on our other pages for those after the more frank stories. The incident at the airport boggles the mind somewhat.
Enjoy!

Aurevoir, arrivederci, and adios...for now
Yes it's time to leave this part of the world for now. Incredible to think that we have spent the last 3 weeks in Europe, the 2 before that in Africa. It feels like so much longer looking back, possibly because of all the things we have crammed into that time.
So one last mainly food pictorial before we head off to Asia for the next lot of adventures!

The merging themes
So in Morocco we adventured, we toughened up and searched for our limits, daily. In Spain we ate, and ate. In Paris - the visiting of the icons, picture postcard visits to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Disneyland, Parc e la Vilette. And in Amsterdam it's history and art. Two cultured days including Amsterdam museum, Van Gogh museum, and the emotional and profound Anne Frank house. Off to have a drink now to recover from Anne's story.

A tribute to travelling companions
Some of the most treasured travel moments involve friends; friends from years gone by, ones met along the way, friends we wish were here with us.
Many new blogs on our pages, more to come, and photos to add in the next few days of reunions with cherished friends. Enjoy

The dodgy comment box on the blog page
Hi all. I have heard it is difficult leaving comments for us and we've had a bit of trouble responding as well. We have tried typing a comment in a normal program then copying and pasting into the comment box which seems to work better so give this a try.
We love hearing from you all x

The Spaniard, a Belgian, some Argentinians, Frenchies and the Australians...
So we're currently sharing an apartment in Barcelona. Given the recent bathroom and balcony encounters I'm not exactly sure how many people are living here. Frenchman in the bathroom, not quite sure who is in the roof garden but smells like someone fairly chilled out, coughing from one of the other rooms, encounter in the hallway earlier with Belgian couple clearly out for a night on the town, and Alberto sprung wandering the alleyways after feigning fatigue and slinking off to bed at an hour way too early. He looked up and saw us drinking beer on the balcony. He looked guilty, so did we, we'll keep it all quiet.
View from the balcony hours earlier before the nightlife emerge...

Good bye Morocco
Oh Essaouira how we loved you so! Marrakech, it didn't quite work out, but thanks for the beer and the pool. Yes we felt like shameless tourists, but we worked hard for it. And watching our grinning girls throwing each other in the pool, beaming from ear to ear and dancing to the techno booming in the background, it was worth it.
Khaleesi, we came so close to crossing paths: at least I got to walk in your footsteps. I will relive the memory in the next season of Game of Thrones.
Morocco has been hard yakka. I hope that we are tougher as a result and that the rest of the trip will feel like a piece of cake. Our fabulous travel companions will be sorely missed when we part company today, but we are richer for having shared this experience with them and the difficult days were made enjoyable by their presence.
So as a tribute on our last day, here are the latest highlights in Essaouira , and really, even the lowlights of Morocco were highlights because they reminded us we're alive.
