Good bye Morocco

Oh Essaouira how we loved you so! Marrakech, it didn't quite work out, but thanks for the beer and the pool. Yes we felt like shameless tourists, but we worked hard for it. And watching our grinning girls throwing each other in the pool, beaming from ear to ear and dancing to the techno booming in the background, it was worth it.

Khaleesi, we came so close to crossing paths: at least I got to walk in your footsteps. I will relive the memory in the next season of Game of Thrones.

Morocco has been hard yakka. I hope that we are tougher as a result and that the rest of the trip will feel like a piece of cake. Our fabulous travel companions will be sorely missed when we part company today, but we are richer for having shared this experience with them and the difficult days were made enjoyable by their presence.

So as a tribute on our last day, here are the latest highlights in Essaouira , and really, even the lowlights of Morocco were highlights because they reminded us we're alive.
