We made it! Of course something had to go wrong somewhere along the way but despite the screaming and vomiting on one plane as we bumped our way on the tail end of a typhoon, and the air steward trying to kick down the door of the toilet when I accidentally leant on the emergency button repeatedly on another plane, we actually made it to the heart of Casablanca without major incident. Until we got to the hotel that didn't have our booking. Long story short we found a bed after 40 hours in transit and all is well. Off to fes today and time to start the adventure. I'm sure we're all too polite to wonder how you repeatedly lent on the emergency button...You know other people get on a plane, sleep, eat crap food and then get off at their destination without incident or full body x-ray..but they have nothing to blog about. And probably have tidy desks. And houses. And children. I don't know anyone like that. They sound very boring.

ReplyDeleteLet's not forget I am a magnet for adventure. I mean it took me a good hour and several emergency phone calls to sort out the latest "we don't have any record of your intrepid tour booking" incident. More on that another time. Need food ... Now!
